It’s been a long time coming but once coronated (still can’t quite come to terms with that word, seems made up) King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will be in the top jobs. Of course, he has a very hard act to follow. Personally I was a huge fan of his mother, she rarely put a foot wrong as we all know.
But life goes on and there is a lot to like about Charles and his long time love Camilla. Apparently the millennials and GenZ aren’t that fussed about the coronation but how about our generation?
It is forecast that we will spend £300 million on patriotic cups, tea towels, spoons and other souvenirs. However, they are unlikely to increase in value in the future. Unless, of course, you are lucky enough to be one of the 2000 guests and you keep your invitation, menus, napkins!
So, if you are a royalist (as one half of the UK population are) and would like a keepsake from this historic event, here are a few souvenirs that might appeal:
