We’re featuring some of our favourite items of exercise wear in this article. Our main criteria is that the clothing is comfortable, practical and colourful. Let’s not be totally reliant on black or grey when we can boost our mood by supplementing the darker colours with some cheerful reds, pinks and greens! YOGA SLIM LEG WRAP WAIST PANTS from Long Tall Sally. £35 I thoroughly recommend these yoga trousers which I have worn for years now and washed/ironed endlessly. They are flattering (straight leg) and the materials and quality of workmanship are top notch.

This amazing custom designed cycling top will make you feel like queen of the road. Comes up small, but I like it so much I am going to lose weight to wear it! If you cycle, you will love this website.

MMIL (Marvellous-Mother-In-Law) has had lots of compliments since she has been wearing this BAM outfit at pilates. As we touched upon in the video, the material has lots of benefits – moisture wicking, antibacterial (ie doesn’t get smelly), climate control, UV protective and, of course, is ultra soft next to your skin. A light stretch in the fabric allows the garments to maintain their form and durability. Baselayer (various colours available and also comes in short sleeves) £35 available sizes 8 – 18. The skirt leggings are an absolutely brilliant way of increasing both your modesty and style – £40 (would suggest ordering a size up as MMIL usually takes a 10 and these were a size 12.)
