We’ve discovered a fashion brand that seems to tick all the boxes. The styles often combine the best elements of vintage wear with updated design and high-end materials. The name? Everlane. It is one of those fashion brands that you could easily never come across – but Annabel did and we are very glad to have found it.
Everlane is an American clothing retailer that sells modern, affordable classics online. The organisation is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2010 with the mission of selling ethically made clothing at transparent prices. Sounds like a win win to me.
Exceptional quality. Ethical factories. Radical Transparency.
So, for example, if you are looking at one of their products online, you can scroll down to see a breakdown of the costs and what a traditional retailer would have charged. This honesty is rather refreshing. And you can also click to see details of the actual factory it was made in. Every Black Friday, Everlane donates its profits to improve the lives of people who work in them.
Their clothing is made to last so you’ll find timeless pieces on their website – Grade-A cashmere sweaters, Italian shoes, and Peruvian Pima tees. So, would you like to see some of their best sellers?
Annabel is wearing the Cashmere Polo in Cactus Flower (3 other colours available) which would usually retail at £200 but Everlane price it at £102. Features include a buttonless plunge, subtle rib detailing and a relaxed shape. MORE INFO
The Day Glove shoe is made from supple Nappa leather that moulds to your feet like leather socks, while an elongated upper keeps feet secure and minimises friction. Small perforations on the sides help prevent hot air from becoming trapped. If you’re in-between sizes or have wide feet, try ordering a half-size up. Click on the Size Guide to find your equivalent UK size. Available in 11 colours. MORE INFO
I’m super happy to be wearing Everlane’s Cashmere Henley in Golden Brown. I absolutely love the unusual dark sand colour and it’s so beautifully soft – definitely gets my vote. Features an open button front, subtle rib detailing and voluminous sleeve. And, like the sweater Annabel is wearing above, it’s made of certified Grade-A cashmere from Inner Mongolia, which is more durable, pills less, and gets softer with wear. There are three other colours to choose from. £96. MORE INFO
I’m also wearing the Utility Straight Leg Pant in Bone (£58, three other colours available) with front seam detailing, an easy straight leg, and rear patch pockets. The mid-weight fabric has a hint of stretch and the tailoring is contemporary – two things that make these jeans a pleasure to wear. MORE INFO
Drape Trench. Often touted as THE wardrobe essential – and for good reason. Everlane has two versions, this style features double-breasted buttons, an exaggerated collar, side pockets, and a slightly oversized fit for an “of-the-moment look”. It’s available in two neutral colours – Clay and Sandstone. It gets its drape from a breathable, lightweight fabric that’s soft to the touch. £118. MORE INFO
Who could resist this beautifully subtle Spearmint coloured Clean Silk Relaxed Shirt? Just one of 8 colours, including a crisp blue/white stripe version. £78. MORE INFO
The Glove Boot ReKnit – shown here in Seafoam but there are eight other colours to choose from. Made from re-cycled polyester, the ribbed glove boot is a bestseller for Everlane – so get yours before they disappear! £92 BUY NOW
The Lightweight French Terry Crew is made of breathable, lightweight French terry and features a wide collar, raglan sleeves, and a banded bottom for an easy fit. Also available in Washed Black and Bone. £30. BUY
