Hope Fashion produce a carefully collated collection each season and this Hope Fashion Autumn Collection is no exception. Each item is attentively chosen keeping in mind their customer base – women over 40. They are very conscious of the changeable and differing body shapes of women of our age who do not always fit the conventional fashion sizes. Our waists disappear and we tend to put on weight in contrasting areas. It may be the hips and thighs or the midriff area but wherever it is we will want to hide it, or highlight different areas of our bodies.
Hope Fashion is based quite near to me and so I am lucky enough to be able to meet up with their PR, Amanda, a few times each year to be shown the collection in detail.
This week I took our photographer, Annabel Vere, for a styling session using the new Hope Fashion Autumn collection. The collection always hinges on the Foundation pieces that are considered wardrobe staples for the ‘Hope Woman’. I love their Power foundation leggings as they are more than a legging, more structured and therefore more shaping. However they are not as formal as a trouser. This season they have incorporated the on-trend colour, brown and have also introduced a straight leg cut-off.
NEW FOUNDATION TROUSERS & KNITWEAR
A DRESS TO TAKE YOU FROM SUMMER TO WINTER
Even though this dress is part of the September collection it is so versatile and will take you through to the Spring. Here I have teamed it with a long sleeve crew and on colder days I would wear a polo-neck and opaque tights.
A VERY FLATTERING COLOUR
I love this colour and it works so well on both fair and dark haired women. It is so uplifting and gives my skin a glow. Gilets have long been popular but this longer length makes if more dressy whilst still being very practical.
TOP COAT IN EVERY WAY
This was my favourite outfit – it looks so luxurious without being too formal. I am always happy in any outfit that I can combine with a trainer!
I think you will agree with Nayna’s quote below:
The new season for Hope is a blend of updated favourites, a nod to the key trends and some simply stand out pieces which I hope you’ll love.Nayna McIntosh – founder of Hope Fashion
Grace and I certainly love the Hope Fashion new collection which continues to uphold their philosophy that women’s body shapes change as we age but can still be flattered. This collection is yet another collection of wearable and stylish clothes in quality fabrics and fluid designs created for real body shapes and proportions. Well done to the Hope Fashion Team once again!
