Let’s FitFlop into winter as once again they launch a winning collection

October 24, 2020

This article was written for Annabel & Grace, which is now part of Rest Less.

As I packed away my summer sandals and brought out my winter boots and shoes I realised how many of them are from FitFlop. This is because FitFlops are so b***** comfortable. They are also well made and there are enough styles to suit everyone.

I am a bit of a Chelsea boot or trainer person especially when the temperature drops. I wear them with trousers, leggings and even dresses. However I have found that not all Chelsea boots and/or trainers are so comfortable and need a lot of breaking in as the leather is quite stiff. This is not the case with FitFlops. From the moment you take them out of the box and put them on they feel as if they were made to measure.

I am not one for science but I was surprised at how good FitFlop boots and shoes are for your feet. However this quote should tell you a little of how much science has gone into each and every design.

All our shoes are rigorously tested at the Human Performance Lab in Calgary, the world’s leading biomechanics research centre.

Here we study how our shoes affect muscle activity and optimise pressure diffusion and body alignment.

FitFlop

Just to add to this what sets FitFlop apart is that they are so lightweight and also their Biomechanic technology. You might want to read more about this last point so click HERE.

However take it from me that wearing FitFlop boots or shoes you won’t have problems walking long distances on pavements, and by the end of the day you won’t be longing to take them off.

Grace also loves a boot as she has fabulous, long, skinny legs so wears straight leg jeans. She chose the ‘Helmi’ croc-embossed leather ankle boot in maroon (also available in black & light tan) from this new season collection.

Of course for those of us #wfh FitFlop have a fabulous Athleisure range. Their trainers are light and oh so comfortable. I love the knit trainers, a trend which is definitely here to stay.

They also have slipper styles that just shout out ‘duvet day’ which of course none of us are doing as we are all slogging it out on our computers.

Don’t they look so snug and in this blush pink suede with their shearling lining the ‘Chrissie’ is top of my wish list.

Of course FitFlop have not forgotten the outside and last winter they launched the Wonderwelly which has proven to be a huge success. At last a rain boot that a rain boot that feel as great as a sneaker and does not destroy one’s feet. Dog walks have been transformed wearing my red Wonderwellies. They are so light I forget to take them off when I come inside!
