I have to tell you that this Retinol Infusion Peel by Dermaquest is an amazing facial and totally different to the ones I normally have. First off it is only 30 minutes long. So it cannot be considered an indulgent facial where you drift off to sleep bathed in delicious fragrances.
No this is a working lunch style facial. One that at the end produces results. I was sceptical that any facial that only took 30 minutes could possibly have any desired effect. I was wrong.
After 30 minutes my face felt fresh but it was what happened two days later. The deep wrinkles on my forehead and between my eyebrows had distinctly lessened. In some cases they seem to have disappeared. I was happily walking around with no foundation and feeling good about it. When I did apply foundation it seemed to glide on and stay much more than usual.
It is a universal treatment for all skin types and conditions. If you use Retinol in any face products you need to stop for 10 days prior to having your Retinol Infusion Peel. Retinol is this century’s magic product that most beauticians are raving about. Many maintain that there’s just one ingredient that is super effective on lines and wrinkles – Retinol. Many refer to it as the only proven anti-ageing ingredient. Retinol is an ‘exfoliator, aiding in the production of collagen, and fighting free radicals.’ However do not touch it if you suffer from Rosacea, Eczema, or Psoriasis.
This facial claims that it Revives, Repairs and Restores you skin – well it certainly did for mine. The Retinol infusion is the most powerful retinol blend and gave me an instant radiance. It restores hydration levels which in my case was very necessary.
I finished the treatment by buying the Cleanser and the Youth Serum. My beautician advised me what I should continue using. am really enjoying using them both. Two girlfriends have remarked that I am looking great so maybe the difference is noticeable. I would certainly have another treatment in a couple of months.
I had the treatment at my local beauty salon in Henley-on-Thames, Cannelle Medispa. The cost was £55. There is another branch in Oxford. However if you want to find somewhere local to you then have a look on the Dermaquest website. Give them a call to find a practitioner.
