Riviera – the intoxicating thriller on Sky Atlantic

This intoxicating thriller, Riviera, follows the moral descent of newlywed, American art dealer Georgina Clios (Julia Stiles). Her idyllic life is shattered when her billionaire husband, Constantine, is killed in a yacht explosion under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a warring family and many unanswered questions. But his death leads Georgina into the shadowy, criminal underworld that lurks beneath dazzling fortunes. She is shocked to discover the fortune and lifestyle he maintained was surrounded by violence, lies and murder. She soon must step out of her comfort zone to protect the family…and herself.

It is a show with a huge budget created by an Academy Award-winner (The Borgias writer Neil Jordan) and co-written by a Booker Prize-winner (John Banville). Riviera’s cast also includes Iwan ‘Ramsay Bolton’ Rheon as Georgina’s stepson Adam and Hustle’s Adrian Lester as art dealer Robert.
