Scarves are the answer when forced to play weather roulette

November 19, 2019

This article was written for Annabel & Grace, which is now part of Rest Less.

At this time of year we have to play a lot of weather roulette. Even asking Alexa, “What’s the weather going to do today?” entails a lengthy description from her, often involving a couple of opposing weather systems. So the way I solve this is to choose one of my many scarves and pop it round my shoulders or in my bag.

ANNABEL: Scarf from KETTLEWELL COLOURS.
GRACE: Scarf from COS £55

Grace and I love wearing scarves all year round. In the summer they can add a pop of colour and also hide a few neck wrinkles. In winter they keep you warm and can also add colour to a dull outfit.

There are so many variations and styles that can be worn any number of ways. Grace favours a silk scarf tied casually at the neck for style rather than warmth.

I love a soft, brightly coloured scarf that keeps me warm and bright at the same time.

DRAPED, KNOTTED OR WRAPPED

Here are some of my favourites from some great online companies:

Winser London has popped some of their beautiful scarves in their sale section so it’s well worth checking them out now.
