I am so refreshed by my recent holiday and life has settled into a comfortable routine. I am, quite simply, happier than I have been in a long long while – contented even.
I love my job
I love my home
I am closer to my boys than ever…
… and yes – EH (ex husband) and i have FINALLY agreed terms! It has been a monumental task and there have been many many fall outs but, with literally days before the court hearing, he relents on the issues we stalled on and I compromise on one other – and we’re done!!! Just the formal paperwork to address now. We met and married in 19 months and it has taken 32 months since separating to get to this point.
It literally feels as though a weight has been lifted and I feel liberated and joyful. I send my BFF (best female friend) flowers as a token of my gratitude for the hours and hours and hours and hours that she has put up with me banging on about my life. We go out to dinner and drink champagne in celebration – but not too much though! Charles is back in touch and coming for the weekend. My heart still skips a beat as he emerges from his car with an exquisite bouquet and we relax easily into each others company. We chat and laugh non stop and OMG even discuss Christmas!!
If you see someone walking down the street grinning like the cat who got all the cream – that’ll be me!!!!!!!
