Snoring problems

snoring

Grace, Zoe and I have all written posts about our husbands and their snoring and how they keep us awake at nights and turn us into Grumpy Old Women by day so when the people from Snorewizard contacted me, having read our posts, I was happy to go and visit and learn all about their products – anything for a good nights sleep!

They have two products, the Snore Wizard and the Goodnight Pillow which they recommend you use together. However I can only review the Goodnight pillow as that alone cured my OH of his snoring. When he saw the Snore Wizard, which is like a mouth guard that you wear inside your mouth, he was not impressed. So I suggested we started with the pillow and if that did not have the desired effect he might try the Snore Wizard. The Goodnight Pillow is a memory foam pillow, square in shape with a lip that you rest your neck on which seems to keep the throat elevated and spine straight and stretched. The first couple of nights my OH found the pillow awkward but as he woke, having had an undisturbed night i.e. no kick in the ribs from me, he was determined to like it even more. He has since used it every night and now loves it perhaps because he feels rested in the morning. Recently we went to stay in an hotel and we did not take his Goodnight pillow and as I lay awake that night I mentally noted to never travel without it in the future!

The Snore Wizard is much more technical and comes with scientific backing however I think you would need to wear it for a couple of hours at a time to get used to it before using it for aagoodnightsleep whole night. I hear great things about it and I am sure the pillow will not cure everyone therefore a combination of the two may be needed in some cases. I would say my husband is at the top end of the scale with his snoring but having not slept with anyone else for 27 years I have no-one to compare him to!! But if the Good Night pillow can cure him then it must be worth trying that first and then buying the Snore Wizard if you need more!

From the website: The SnoreWizard is an instantly effective aid for curing snoring problems and a complete solution to remedy sleepless nights. It works so successfully that we guarantee it will work for you. If it doesn’t, simply return it and we’ll send you a full refund – no questions asked!

The Goodnight Pillow was reviewed in the Sun newspaper and was given the highest score of 8/10 however in my household it would score even higher than that! The Snorewizard and the Goodnight Pillow were featured on TVAm last week with three other products and their introduction noted that one in three people have a sleep problem at some point during their life which is sleep-related. It is therefore understandable that there are so many products out in the market as desperate people will clutch at an straw to give them a snore free night’s sleep but beware of some which do not deliver on their promise. I can vouch for the Goodnight pillow and as the Snorewizard comes from the same company with sound scientific backing I think they are both worth trying.
