Going on holiday soon? Then we suggest that you take a look at JDWilliams before you go. It’s the one stop shop for not only a reasonably priced and flattering holiday capsule wardrobe, but also for everything else you’ll need – from your suitcase to your suncream.
We borrowed a few of JDWilliams’ new in clothes so that we could show you some of the fabulous fashion on their website.
Doesn’t Annabel look gorgeous in this Joanna Hope tropical print jumpsuit? Such a pretty fabric and so summery too. Available in sizes 10 – 20, it is made from super comfortable stretch jersey and is machine washable. £59
This floaty tunic is exclusive to JDW and is just a dream to wear. It has clever detailing – for example, velvet ribbon trim. Available in sizes 12 – 32, it’s made from breathable viscose and costs £40.
How to look fresh as a daisy in very hot weather… tailored white shorts are perfect. This pair are a viscose/cotton/linen mix, have an elasticated back waist and cost £20 and are available in sizes 10 – 30. BUY NOW Paired with a striped tee in a soft cotton £12.80 BUY NOW. Annabel loved these slip on espadrilles (£8 – £20 depending on colour) which were wonderfully comfortable to wear from the moment she popped them on. BUY NOW
Now here are two words which I never thought we would never be writing in our diaries – ‘swimwear’ and ‘photoshoot’!! But we thought we would be brave as it’s difficult to buy a swimming costume online when they are presented on either super-slim-and-smooth or wrinkle-free models. Be warned – we are are neither of those things!
Co-ords are very on trend and this chain print mesh swimsuit with matching beach kimono cover up from Joanna Hope was the outfit I chose to bare (practically) all in. Each piece costs £45. BUY SWIMSUIT and/or BUY KIMONO
Annabel strutted her stuff in this Magisculpt feather print costume which is reduced to £22.50 (from £45) at the time of writing. Firm control technology coupled with optimum bust support makes this an excellent choice if you are looking for a slimming effect. BUY NOW
The red soft strap low wedge espadrilles were a big hit with Annabel – and will be a hit with your purse at only £18 a pair. Available in five other colours too. BUY NOW She teamed the costume with a Pom Pom Trim Kaftan in a palm print – a brilliant little cover up. Was £30, now £24. BUY NOW But hurry if you want one of these as stocks are low. Good news is there are plenty more colourful kaftans on the JDWilliams’ site if you click here.
Make a splash (of colour) with this vibrant outfit. Linen vest £6 BUY NOW and Crinkle Over Shirt Dress £29 BUY NOW, both in striking cobalt blue. Add a pair of Pull On Capri trousers £22 BUY NOW and you are definitely ready to go!
A couple more recommendations before I sign off. I recently spent a few days in Greece and we only took cabin luggage with us. It’s amazing how many summer clothes you can squeeze into such a small case and, of course, there’s no carousel to contend with after your flight. Check out the extensive range of suitcases here.
And that suncream I mentioned at the start of this article. You might like to consider Lancaster High Tolerance SPF50 suncream.
It boasts full light technology that protects your skin from all four sun rays: UVB, UVA, invisible light and infrared. It’s soothing and especially effective for pale skin.
