The Transitional Wardrobe to take you through this unpredictable weather

A transitional wardrobe is a must nowadays with our unsettled climate. Every morning I ask Alexa what is the weather going to be today? Any day in the UK the weather can be changeable however when it is time for the seasons to turn you can be caught out with an unexpected downpour or a sudden hot spell.

Online shopping is my answer to winter purchases as you can try the clothes on without having to take off endless layers – coats, scarves, boots etc. However right now we need a transitional wardrobe and most shops are still trying to get rid of the last of the shorts and swimsuits. So online is the best place to look – it gives you a good feel of what is coming this season.

Really enjoyed this post ladies, you look lovely in all those outfits. I have looked at JD Williams website before and found that too many of their clothes have a high percentage polyester content in them for me, I get lots of static ! But today I took a look at those jeans and although they aren’t all cotton the fabric sounds great for comfort. I am currently carrying too much weight in the middle of my body ( needs to be addressed really !!) and the higher waist looks ideal. I don’t want to but premium jeans for the weight I am at the moment so thank you for bringing these affordable jeans to my attention.

  Delighted you enjoyed our transitional dressing post. Agree about polyester but (sadly) think that can be said of most fashion sites these days! I usually go for natural fabrics but I do like viscose too. Am waiting for an interesting week (more often my week consists of sitting at my computer, shopping, cooking and yoga classes!) but will happily do another What I Wore this Week post in the near future. It’s so nice to see women modeling clothes who are over 60. I am 63 and will be 64 in November. I live in the United States. Here every thing is modeled by young women because as we know selling is geared toward young people. Well these companies need to know that any age can and should be considered since our money spends the same way as a young persons does.
