Last year we were awarded Highly Commended together with We Heart Living whilst the winner was The Dapper Chapper. Yes we were beaten by a man but to be fair it was a very deserved win and I sent a link for his blog to my two sons who are now following him.
The mission of The UK Blog Awards is to recognise the unique and resonant nature of the Internet community – from bloggers to social Influencers and through organisations and individual creators. The UK Blog Awards is the most prestigious, and the only, multi-industry awards honouring online excellence.
The UK Blog Awards ceremony last year was great fun, though Grace and I did feel quite old as most bloggers are a lot younger than us. However winning Highly Commended meant that we were recognised as a cool and accepted representative for #womenover50.

Tough competition but we are very happy to be included in this prestigious group.
Out of the 4,000 entries and nominations that they’ve had – we are one of only 8 company bloggers to have got through- that is INSANE!
The judging starts at the end of this month and the results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday 20th April.
Better get our outfits sorted now….
